VEI CELL · Skin Renewal

We assess your skin first:
stem cell skin renewal

Stem cell skin renewal is a procedure that delivers components obtained during stem cell culture (such as conditioned media, exosomes and growth factors) to the skin. Beyond the face, you can also ask about dryness or rough texture on areas of the body such as the arms, thighs, abdomen and upper chest. The procedure is performed in-house.

VEI Clinic, Gangnam — VEI CELL · Skin Renewal

Who It May Suit

  • People bothered by fine lines, dullness or rough skin texture
  • People whose skin feels drier after a change of season
  • People concerned about uneven tone or visible pores
  • People who have noticed changes in their body skin after weight changes or sun exposure
  • People who want to discuss non-surgical options first

What This Procedure Is

Stem cell-derived components are delivered through microneedling or applied so that they absorb into the skin. The specialist chooses the components and delivery method to suit your skin and the area being treated.

It is designed to care for your skin, not to treat disease. When appropriate, we also discuss whether to combine it with other procedures such as laser toning.

How a Visit Works

  • Consultation: history review, skin assessment and goal setting
  • Planning: choice of components, delivery method and treatment areas
  • Preparation (when needed): gentle toning or light exfoliation
  • Procedure: numbing cream if needed, delivery of components, then a soothing mask
  • Aftercare: home-care guidance and scheduling of your follow-up visit

Safety and Precautions

Before the procedure we check for allergies, dermatitis, infection, pregnancy and any recent procedures. When needed, we test a small area first. Temporary redness or warmth may appear in the treated area.

  • Single-use sterile tools are used
  • Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer for a few days
  • Apply sunscreen thoroughly when you go outdoors
  • Follow the specialist's advice on when to resume exfoliants or retinoids
  • Avoid saunas, hot baths and strenuous exercise on the day of the procedure

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How many sessions do I need?

There is no fixed number. You and the specialist set the number and spacing of sessions based on your skin, your goals and how your skin responds.

Does it hurt?

When microneedling is used for delivery, numbing cream helps reduce discomfort. How it feels differs from person to person.

Which body areas can be treated?

Besides the face, you can ask about treating the arms, thighs, abdomen and upper chest. The specialist judges suitability for each area after assessing your skin.

Can I combine it with other skin procedures?

Whether it can be combined with procedures such as laser toning, and when, is decided by the specialist based on your skin and recent treatment history.
